Troublesome Creek Outfitters owns and leases nearly 3500 acres of land in Lewis County, Missouri and Adams County, Illinois for your deer and turkey hunting experience.
Both of these counties rank very high in their respective state for deer population and are famous for trophy class whitetail deer.
In addition to the whitetail deer there is also an abundant supply of turkey. In Missouri turkey can also be taken during the fall archery season.
For the serious archer we have dedicated archery only properties in Illinois and in Missouri.
We require that all bow hunters use scent eliminating products and we strictly enforce the 130 Pope and Young minimum for archery.
A $500.00 fee is levied against anyone harvesting a buck that does not meet these requirements.
Our Missouri and Illinois farms have a great mixture of agriculture and hardwood timber and are located along or adjacent to major tributaries.
Our Missouri farms are located along the Troublesome Creek, the North River, and the Wyaconda River and all are in Unit #7, one of the highest producing units in the state of Missouri. In 1998 the #3 buck taken with a rifle in Missouri was harvested on one of our farms.
Our Illinois farms are located on Mill Creek, the Mississippi River bottom, and near Siloam Springs State Park. Both the Missouri and Illinois farms are located within a 10-45 minute drive from Quincy, Illinois.
