Chapter News



May 2008: We awarded two (2) five hundred dollar scholarships to a graduating senior from each Lewis County high school. This year's winners are Christy Phillips (Canton) and Dustin Murphy (Highland).

Sign up for CP38, or SAFE, began. This continuous CRP program pays landowners annual rental rates to establish wildlife habitat on their retired crop ground or expired general CRP fields. Find out more about CP38 today by contacting our habitat specialist, Chris Lee at clee@pheasantsforever.org.

We sponsored and assisted with the Lewis County Conservation and Wildlife Field Day - a community outdoors event which featured shooting sports, exhibits, displays, a youth turkey calling contest, a free lunch, and much more. About 180 people attended.
