Chevrolet Dealer Information

Partners in Conservation: PF and Chevrolet This partnership is funded primarily by Chevrolet dealers participating in Local Marketing Groups located in the General Motors North Central Region.

This region includes all of Minnesota and Wisconsin, most of Iowa and Illinois, eastern halves of North and South Dakota and parts of Indiana, Ohio and Michigan.

Approximately 150 Chevrolet dealers in this region have received information and are assigned to work directly with a Pheasants Forever chapter/event in their market area.

If you are not one of these supporting LMG dealers with a specifically assigned PF chapter, you are still encouraged to find the closest PF chapter/event without an assigned dealer and get involved in their activities. Email or call the Chevy/PF Partners in Conservation Hotline at 763-404-1101.

Here's more information how to make the most of this partnership at the local level:

Four Basic Steps to Promote at Your Pheasants Forever Event

  1. Designate a dealership a point person for Pheasants Forever. This can be an Owner/General Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Person, Commercial Sales, Service Manager. This person may already be involved in the outdoors or even have knowledge about your local PF chapter.
  2. Connect by phone or in-person ASAP with your local Pheasants Forever chapter contact. That person has important details about your local event.
  3. Discuss with your local Pheasants Forever chapter contact:
    1. The exact time, date and location of your assigned Pheasants Forever event and any meetings to plan the event.
    2. Displaying vehicles and signage at your event.
    3. Drawing the event qualifier for the truck raffle and making sure your dealership gets MC/speaker recognition.
    4. Adding Chevrolet merchandise, dealer service certificates, cash or other prizes to create more excitement.
    5. Dealership exposure in an event program or on event dining tables.
    6. Outfitting event ticket sellers in Chevrolet or dealer logo T-shirts and hats.
    7. Providing staff, especially salespeople and new employees to sell tickets or be representatives at the event. It's a great way sales people to meet prospective customers!
    8. Discuss opportunities for pre-event promotions at your dealership.
  4. Remember: Pheasants Forever fundraising events are organized and run by volunteers from your local community active in the outdoors. When you meet and support them, it's a unique opportunity to let potential customers get to know you.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Pheasants Forever event?

Pheasants Forever is the nation's largest conservation organization for upland game. PF events raise money to create habitat for pheasants and other wildlife with all net proceeds going to local chapter habitat projects. PF events are generally dinner/banquets, golf or sporting clay events. They often start with a silent auction followed by a meal, speakers and a series of raffles and live auction items. Events take place throughout the year. Specific event, date, time and place is available from your PF chapter contact.

If I ask my employees to help sell tickets at the PF event, do they have to buy an event/dinner ticket?

Dealers in the NCR should have received 4 (four) event tickets from Chevrolet. Beyond that, remember, PF is a non-profit organization raising funds for wildlife habitat. There are really no complimentary tickets to PF events and dinners.

Can my employees win a chance to win the truck?

Yes, your employees are eligible to win, however employees of Chevrolet Motor Division and their agencies, Chevrolet dealer/owners and their immediate families are not eligible for the qualifying prize or grand prize.

Can Chevrolet dealers sell event tickets at the dealership?

That's up to each dealer and chapter. Dealers selling tickets assume responsibility for collecting and delivering ticket revenue to their assigned PF chapter.

A competing Chevrolet dealer and/or competing brand dealer showed up at the event?

PF events are open to the public. But only the assigned Chevrolet dealer may actively work the PF/Chevrolet truck raffle, promote its sponsorship or display a vehicle at their assigned event.

How many events will I be involved in?

That depends on your assigned chapter. Some have one large event. Others have several events. Your PF contact will tell you more.

Can I swap or share events with a neighboring Chevrolet dealer?

Event assignments are based on geography. Sharing or swapping assigned events need to be mutually authorized by participating dealers and documented in writing.

Can I put others at the dealership in charge of this program?

Yes, if that works better. This program is designed to give you, your dealership and staff more visibility in your community. Getting your sales or service staff involved would be great.

Who's in charge of this program?

This is a cooperative program and on the local level, you and your PF chapter are in charge.
