Buy, or request donations of various prizes for a raffle.

Hint: The more calendars you buy, the more you can sell (and profit from!)
The chapter knew they had a high number of repeat buyers from the previous year, and that these buyers tend to purchase calendars for friends and family as well. So, they bought 100 calendars for a cost of $295. - At your banquet, set up a prize table displaying the prizes and calendars. Hold a raffle by selling the calendars with a numbered raffle ticket.
The chapter sold all of their calendars for $20 each—totaling $2,000. After prize and calendar expenses, their entire profit was $1,380!
This fundraiser was a huge success, and none of the guests left empty-handed. Each guest took home a custom imprinted calendar and—if lucky—a raffle prize. Next year they plan to do a similar event, but with more prizes, more tickets, and more Pheasants Forever calendars.
